To carry forward the red legacy and solidify the foundation of faith, and to conduct high-quality Party discipline study and education, on November 19, 2025, the Party members, cadres, and probationary members of the Liangjingjing Party Branch, led by the branch secretary, visited the Northern Fujian Revolutionary History Memorial Hall for a themed study-and‑learning activity.

With a single step, I plunge into the depths of time, and everywhere my gaze falls, the mountains and rivers burn with fervor.

As footsteps gently cross the threshold of the Northern Fujian Historical Memorial Hall, the city’s clamor is instantly shut out. The exhibition halls are bathed in soft, solemn light, where yellowed photographs, rust‑streaked firearms, worn‑out garments, and faded manuscripts—each artifact stands quietly, as if silently recounting the stirring chapters of a glorious revolutionary past. Here lies a microcosm of Northern Fujian’s revolutionary history, a spiritual sanctuary forged by the blood and lives of countless martyrs, and a guiding compass that invites us to revisit our original aspirations and draw strength from the past.

Each historical photograph is a testament to heroic spirit.

In the section dedicated to individual figures, one after another, youthful faces come into view—some still bearing the innocence of youth yet already shouldering the weighty responsibility of national liberation; others wear resolute smiles, their eyes alight with unwavering faith in the triumph of the revolution. The docent softly recounts their stories: Red Army commanders who led from the front and heroically gave their lives in battle; underground operatives who risked their lives to carry intelligence to the guerrilla forces; and ordinary people who, rather than yield, steadfastly upheld the secrets of the revolution… Without grand, earth‑shaking rhetoric, they embodied, through the simplest of deeds, the original aspiration of “serving the people.”

Remember history and stay true to our original aspiration; honor the martyrs and shoulder our mission.

Remembering history is to move forward more effectively; honoring our martyrs is to shoulder the mission on our shoulders. As we embark on a new journey to build a modern socialist country in all respects, we must take our martyrs as role models, fortify our ideals and convictions, stay true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind, and transform our reverence for the martyrs into a powerful driving force for striving and accomplishing great things. We must remain committed to our respective posts, courageously assume responsibility and willingly dedicate ourselves, putting into practice with concrete actions the pledge: “Rest assured, Party; a strong nation is my responsibility.” Moreover, we must carry forward the red gene, ensuring that the spirit of our martyrs shines even more brightly in the new era, and tirelessly strive to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
